Benefits & Side Effects

I wondered if anyone else had felt that they had more energy and generally felt better. I have been doing this about four weeks and have felt brighter every week.
Hi Irene,

Yes, I do have more energy generally. Felt a bit tired on fast days right at the very start and then after a few weeks felt much better on any days fast or normal.
I've been following the approach since late September 2012 and I'm really pleased with the increased energy I feel.
In the past when I have lost a lot of weight I've been asked if I felt better for it and I had to say "no". Now I can say "yes, I do feel better" - actually I won't shut up about it!
Me too. I can't get over the change in my energy levels.More people have commented on that than my weight loss.
I have a chronic illness so I'm doing this WOE for the health benefits as well as the weight loss & while I haven't seen any difference in my pain levels,I definitely feel better in my self & have more energy - another good side effect?
For most of the day I feel like I've got a lot of energy - legs keep being prone to jiggling as I'm sat at my desk and I feel mentally very alert. But I do wonder if it's because I don't eat anything all day, because after I've had my evening meal I suddenly seem to get very sleepy all of a sudden!
I agree. I've been doing this for only 3 weeks and definitely have more energy, pretty much all the time. Love it!
