A purchaser with too much time on her hands

Baby steps

by Aina on 10 Jun 2013, 12:30

The week which I felt was a struggle and a disaster actually showed me that some things are just in my head. I had several bad eating moments but its more due to head issues that I have and need sorting out.

I ate food, I ate chocolate, I ate ice cream and I lost weight. I went out for a steak dinner and it did not make me gain weight. I walked 6 out of 7 days. I said to myself it is ok if I mess up a little, it does not mean that I need to throw in the towel.

The walking clears my head and de stress the body. I managed an extra-long walk on Sunday. I went for an hours walk before I was picked up where we went to the beach and I walked home. Another 30 min of walk or so was added in there.

The benefits are already showing itself. Pants that I did not fit last year I am managing to use them comfortably. I am measuring my thigh which I know I don’t retain water so if I lose fat there, it is gone for good.

The baby steps taken is good as I am not going to give up easily and I know I will manage to keep it on. As now I am not ‘exhausted’ nor am I bored and tired of the whole situation. Hopefully for once I am able to lose it and keep it up.
