January 2014

I have been hiding for a long time. Well, I am not fasting as much here and there once a while as life has been hectic and I am able to maintain I think my weight loss. Since I have moved out and did not actually bring my scales due to not wanting to be in the same house as a deranged ex husband, I have no idea what I weigh at all. The only indication that I have is through my clothes and I am still in them!

During Christmas the new love interest in my life went to Mango and bought me my present there. I was presented with clothes in size small which all fits me nicely. So I was pleased with the choices (the guy has good taste) and that I am a size small!

I am still in need to tweak certain area in my eating as I am working out at the gym at least twice a week minimum. I do mostly weight training since I am not looking to lose weight but to firm up my whole body and to get stronger upper body. I am doing 70kg leg press and is pleased with how my legs are. It is now pure muscle and that...

Up and away!!

by Aina on 06 Nov 2013, 11:37

So here I am at the lowest weight I have ever been in my adult life. Do you think the scales stay still? Nope, not at all. It is all over the place. I know that I have not gained weight as I would need to eat an extra 14000 calories to gain the weight that my crazy scales says that I have gained. I am don’t think I have eaten more than 1500 calories a day much less excess.

The only explanation that I can give is that I am at a stress period and I have indulged in fries (one day only) and pasta which I usually avoid. Don’t you love what carbs do to your body!! Now I have to calm down, distress, and wait and see what the scales do the next few days. I only hope it makes up its mind as to what it wants to do!

Winter caught me early

by Aina on 23 Oct 2013, 06:59

The past weeks or so I have been doing 19/5. I do not have any other reason other than doing something different. I am more into maintenance right now and is conflicted about wanting to lose more weight or not. I am able to do this woe the rest of my life for sure. I probably will eat breakfast and lunch on the weekends and have a more normal eating way if I need to do so but for the most part I probably not. Eating dinner and a light supper is all what I need right now. I am going to experiment as I feel that I consume too little vegetables and fruits on this woe that I need to tweak it a little.

Weight wise I have maintain and in my ‘period’ week so what real weight I have will not be true due to hormonal water retention that will only settle itself after this week is over. My waist and my other control area does not show any increase so I am pleased.

I managed to get a pair of jeans for the short me. Zalando has free shipping and returns making me buying and trying things much eas...

Taking a step back or two.

by Aina on 20 Oct 2013, 18:38

After 2 weeks of being sick. I am going to take a step back on my plans and just let it slide for a while. I have not done any real fasting or anything and still maintained my weight loss. Of course there is the normal fluctuation that I am not taking into account as I am females and water retention and what not is infamous.

Tomorrow I will start back at work and will be fasting. I am going to do a water only fast or attempt to do it. The past week or so I have not had any appetite and it only awakens when I start eating food. So I want to see how long I can fast (max 1 day of no food) before I cave in.

I have had time to take a look at what I want and right now I want to rid of another 4-5 kgs before I start embarking on my exercise routine. It is winter and starting to be very cold and for those who are from up north knows how cold and terrible our winters are. You only want to come home, snug under a comforter in front of the fire place and not move a muscle.

It has started

by Aina on 08 Oct 2013, 13:40

I am officially in phase 2. I really need to get a before picture taken. I am really slow. It might be due that it is so much colder now and stripping is not what I want to be doing.

I did some body work on Friday and I was really aching the whole of Saturday and Sunday. I did a 19 hr fast on Monday and one set of the workout. I am easing myself into it as I know charging headon means I will lose steam.

One set was enough to get me panting and sweating and dizzy on the sofa. So I was glad I did not over do it. I found out that I need heavier weights and the 4 kg kettle bell was too light for me for my dumbell rows. I do have dumbells and weights at home somewhere. I just need to dig them out.

I do 10 push ups each time I pass my stairs which is about all the time as I have a weirdly constructed house. When I started on Friday I barely could do five and now I am able to do 10. I will slowly increase the amount I will do each time I pass by the stairs. My goal as said to do a proper push...
