Week 4

by Aina on 17 Jun 2013, 07:37

The weeks fast went wonderfully. I weighed myself on Wednesday to do a control and on my official weighing day I lost a nice amount of 0,9kg. I was of course wonderfully happy. It was hard work as I am doing an obscene amount of walking and added in a 30 day squat challenge.

Then came the rest of the day. I ate nothing that would say as terrible or an over indulgence. Normal food and amount. Normal being Asian non deep fried. Sunday I was to stay at a stand selling waffles, hotdogs, ice cream and the likes for my son’s football tournament. I hate basically all the things on offer so I decided to do a mini fast. I will not eat anything thus avoiding eating something that I really don’t like anyway. It of course work as I was not tempted. I came home then ate lunch which was about 500 calories which consisted of rice (which I measured to be 1dl raw), 1 scrambled egg and Asian style spinach soup. The rice being the bulk calories. Then in the evening I had 2 cheese hotdogs with buns and a corn. For supper I ate the same as lunch without the egg but with a glass of watermelon juice.

I did not do any walking from Friday but I did lots of housework as I am making a Malaysian dinner for 2 of my bosses on Wednesday. Standing 5 hours on Sunday selling to cold football players with their family was hard work. It was raining so badly that the kids looked like drowned cats and let us not even think how muddy they look like.

So what happened when I went on the scales Monday morning? I ‘gained’ 2kgs. I was of course had to check several times. I was like ok body, you want to play that a way. So I took my waist measurement and it was up 1 cm and my thigh measurement and it showed a slight decrease. So I came to a conclusion that I am retaining water and gaining muscles. My thighs are going back to its old glory days when I used to work out a lot. Very define thigh and calf muscles.

It is not my fourth week in and this week I cannot put in a proper 3 day fast or the long walks until maybe Wednesday or Thursday. I will be doing my morning walks Monday to Wednesday as evenings will be spend to cleaning the house and prepping. I will be making a cake today and some prepping and most definitely my squats. Food wise I found out I actually like skipping breakfast and lunch altogether and only eat dinner.

Next week I have 1 week free from work. Another change of event. It will not be hard as I can easily skip meals without me even being hungry. I always lose weight when I have staycation as I do not need to have breakfast or lunch.

Wish me luck with this week as its all crazy and I am not sure how my body will cope with it.
