A purchaser with too much time on her hands

Winter caught me early

by Aina on 23 Oct 2013, 06:59

The past weeks or so I have been doing 19/5. I do not have any other reason other than doing something different. I am more into maintenance right now and is conflicted about wanting to lose more weight or not. I am able to do this woe the rest of my life for sure. I probably will eat breakfast and lunch on the weekends and have a more normal eating way if I need to do so but for the most part I probably not. Eating dinner and a light supper is all what I need right now. I am going to experiment as I feel that I consume too little vegetables and fruits on this woe that I need to tweak it a little.

Weight wise I have maintain and in my ‘period’ week so what real weight I have will not be true due to hormonal water retention that will only settle itself after this week is over. My waist and my other control area does not show any increase so I am pleased.

I managed to get a pair of jeans for the short me. Zalando has free shipping and returns making me buying and trying things much easier! So I have bought a pair of jeans size 26 which is a perfect fit. I do not think going down a pant size is something that I would like. Sure if I lived in Asia and everyone is skin and bones.

The exercise thing is on the hold due to health issue. I am exhausted all the time and winter depression/exhaustion has come early to me. It usually hits me around December but it took me early this year. I can only keep my head above water by not fattening myself with food. I barely able to keep the house tidy much less activities that asks more from me. For those who says exercise makes you feel better and gives energy it don’t work for me. It is my 17th Norwegian winter. It is living in constant darkness and when there is sun, I seldom get to see it due to work. I have tried light therapy, exercise, supplements and medication. It is now just coping and doing what I need to do. I only like tea and hate hot chocolate. Imagine the amount of hot chocolate needing to keep warm?!!

If I can get to March and weight the same as I do today, it is a big victory for me!!
