On the road to a healthier me

I have found it delightfully easy to adjust to this new way of eating. Had some headaches when I first started but now I feel just fantastic and have a lot more energy. On fast days I skip breakfast and lunch and usually have the same dinner as the rest of the family, so it's minimum fuss. On feed days I eat pretty much what I like, including the odd chocolate and cake (in reasonable amounts though). I also enjoy my usual few glasses of wine on the weekends, but interestingly I have noticed that I've almost completely stopped snacking. I don't count my calories as such but I log them daily on My Fitness Pal so that I have an idea of how much I consume over the week, and it seems to average out to my TDEE. I am wondering if the restricted calorie regime actually somehow 'resets' the body to its natural balance as far as calories are concerned?
