Tantalisingly close...

by Belindab on 12 Mar 2013, 08:54

I started at 68.4 kilos this year. My target is to get to a healthy BMI with 55 kg.

This morning (after yesterday's fast), I'm 60.8 - getting so close now and it really looks feasible for me to get below 60kg, which I had previously given up any aspirations to, as it just didn't seem possible with exclusion diets or simple calorie counting.

By doing my BMR and understanding TDEE properly though, I now have a much better grasp of what my body really needs - a lot less than I thought! - and the fasting has helped so much as I don't snack any more and I feel full when I have had enough.

Loving that it has also re-inspired my cooking and got me on a rocket booster to writing my next cookbook!

Fantastic!! Even though I must admit I thought you said it had you on a rocket hamster and I had to reread it LOL

That's great though - you must be so pleased!
