Reality check

It has been a crappy day today. Fallen out with one of my kids who behaved very badly on the way home from school. I immediately wanted to eat, preferably chocolate. But having to be resolute and roll with the punches. So I had a cup of tea instead.
I am also going to weigh in again in the morning, since the naked morning weigh in is my preference for consistency.
The scales are the body monitor type. I know they're not completely accurate but I am hoping it will be relatively accurate, literally. So I can see how much things change at least. The fat proportion was horrific at 50% but I am trying to be positive by thinking it is one more measurement I can soon see moving downwards. And in slightly less horrifying news, although my visceral fat reading was unhealthy at 11, the healthy range is 10 or below so again it gives me a mini target to aim for.
So. The music has been properly faced. Now time to knuckle down to see those first downward results...
