What will I do with today?

by Bobshouse on 23 Mar 2013, 07:24

A slow start, well for me. Have still fed and watered chicks in brooder, fed and watered cats and dog. Fed, watered, counted and let out chickens and ducks. Gave rabbit his morning carrot and let him out and checked on my two broody ducks. Am. Ow enjoying my breakfast!
This morning I will take dog for a walk and hopefully finish shoveling the ten ton of gravel I have been battling to spread all week dodging rain. Then it will be a quick lunch, bacon baguette today before heading out for the afternoon. I will of course have to transform my look from builders mate to tourist as we are visiting a museum this afternoon. It is a bit of a drive and we will be with a group which will be great.
Home to collect eggs, put birds to bed and cook dinner.
A lovely day to look forward to.
Yesterday I ate too much, the usual cake and biscuit problem. I have to learn to control how much I eat. I know from experience it does not work to ban it. I love baking and I love the results so limits are definitely the key for me. Yesterday I did not have lunch as wasn't hungry, but when I finally came home had a coffee and a mini binge on cake. I pulled it in and started on the dinner. I am fine with fasting and have settled into what works for me but still need to adjust my feast days. Generally I am much more relaxed around food and the secret eating is almost gone. This plan is really helping me to understand my relationship with food, something that never happened with weight watchers. That was just an obsession with staying within points. The times OH would want to go out for a meal and I would say no because I knew I did not have enough points. Made us both unhappy. Okay I am not losing weight at the moment but that will come. It is very important to me to finally deal with my attitude to food. I know I am reaping health benefits with my fasting so it is not wasted. I am happier at the moment not knowing what the scales say. As long as I at least stay where I am as a size 10/12 that is okay.
