Still stuck around 200

by Carleneruns on 09 Apr 2014, 19:32

Have been stuck for a while now. I'm moving up and down between 198 and 203. I'm so tired of being stuck. Still fasting twice a week. Have been drinking more water, especially on fast days. But still not making any progress.

I'm fasting today and it is my second fast of the week. Am also toying with the idea of fasting again Friday. Maybe the extra fast will help me get back on track. SIGH!

This is starting to feel like dieting instead of living and that is a bad thing. When I was making steady progress it was so much easier to motivate myself on fasting days.

My birthday is next week and I really was hoping to be smaller by then. After my steady success in the summer/fall I expected to keep moving along after Christmas and be closer to the 40 pound lost mark. Instead I'm flitting around 27, 28, 29. ARGH!

Hang in there, Carleneruns. As I keep saying, losing weight in winter and spring seems to be harder. I am waiting for Science to explain that. Just carry on with 5:2 and don't succumb to dieting. I'm pretty sure your weight will start to drop when you get to summer.

I sure hope so. My weight stayed the same this morning. Usually there is a post-fast drop. I'm feeling discouraged.
