TGIF!

by Carleneruns on 22 Nov 2013, 16:26

Yesterday's lunch with friends went really well and food-wise I did something I rarely do. We were at the pub and I ordered chicken fingers and fries. The first few fries were heavenly. By the time I ate the chicken I was getting full and the fries weren't as appealing. I finished eating and left part of the fries on my plate. (Typically I am plate cleaner.) So recognizing that: a) I was full and b) the fries weren't as tasty anymore and weren't worth eating is a huge step for me. Yeah!

Hubby was working late last night which meant I was on my own for dinner. Had grilled cheese and diced peppers. Then snacked on a few cookies. That's it. No extra snacking later.

Woke up today to the same weight as yesterday. It is so nice to not see the numbers jump up. Am fasting again today and feeling a bit peckish. But I'll live. Next week I'll be back to 2 fasts. But I am considering doing alternate weeks with 3 fasts. We'll see how I feel about it once I finish today's fast.
