Simples

by Deni on 24 Apr 2013, 20:15

Day two of 'eat days' and enjoying having what I want , a glass wine , crisps, bit of this and a bit of that . Interesting that I know hardly anything about calories I haven't looked at calories since the 80's ! Due in part to weight watchers and sliming world, I know, points and sins ( a name that always bugged me ) and free food . so a bit of a learning curve on this, but it's still not rocket science, pizza high , apple low..... Hardly taxing ... On a side note do rocket scientists say oh its hardly a diet when they have to do difficult stuff
Although I am indulging a little generally eating much more 'mindfully' and I don't actually want so much rubbish food, and normal, portions are leaving me stuffed, not mooching about the kitchen randomly opening cupboards and the fridge on the hunt for more
Plus from thur last to today, which is 2 fasts I have lost 2 lb which is a bag,of sugar...

Not hungry on fast two

by Deni on 22 Apr 2013, 21:14

Fast two over , and I can honestly say I was not hungry, even by the time inwasndue to eat at 2030hrs. Somehow not eating at all switched off my desire to eat. I did enjoy my meal fish cake and salad but I wasn't ravenous. Normally by the time I finish work and have had lunch and breakfast and snacks , I am so hungry I could eat a horse between two bread vans lol.. And I am irritable until I have eaten, but not today. I drank camomile tea and had chewing gum but apart from that nothing. Seems once you start eating you want more and if you don't start then the fast, for me anyway is easy. Even better I now I have 3 days of feed days .

Elle macpherson

by Deni on 21 Apr 2013, 18:04

Well tomorrow I am on fast 2 - had a nice two days not restricting but not pigging out either , had a few bits of chocolate eft over easter egg that had been unopened but I did not feel like I wanted to eat the whole thing, which is a first! I haven't been as interested in food this weekend, it's been a take it or leave it mindset . Curiouser and curiouser as Alice would say

Again I plan not to eat until time for my evening meal , as that worked for me on friday, , so hoping for a busy work day to take my mind off food. Hoping to go on holiday in July and the aim is not to look like a ' great white' , so with some fake tan and the 5:2 Elle McPherson look alikey here I come ( a girl can dream)
Good,luck to you all, .. X

One fast

by Deni on 20 Apr 2013, 09:45

Yesterday was my first fast. I chose my busiest day at work so that I wouln't think about food ! I decided to only drink during the day, and save my 500 until my main meal with hubby to be . I found it easy, sory to all who struggled, but boy did I enjoy my 500. I drank watervandvfruuit tea and had an occasional sugar free gum to keep my mouth occupied . My BMi is30.9 which is approx 52 lb to lose, or 10 bags of spuds ! So I have high hopes for the 5:2 ... Will let you know how I do... Good luck kids !
