Muscle is denser than fat

by Faster on 15 Sep 2013, 13:29

Yeah, OK, I gained back about 3 or so pounds. But... I've been doing hills and hitting the gym. So...
I must have converted some fat to muscle!
I am definitely stronger climbing hills. So I'm not worrying too much at this point. In case you are wondering what 5 pounds of fat look like in both fat and muscle forms, here are pictures of some models:

On a sadder note, a friend of mine is recovering from a nasty spill on her bike -- caused by a stray dog trying to chase her down. At least one bone was broken. Be careful out there. And please, fence in your dogs.
