Nice blog Holly. Sounds like you have alot to look forward to. Imagine where you will be by your holiday in September if you keep at it. Don't worry about missing out on the 'all you can drink' first class flight. Just get pleasure watching everyone else make fools of themselves and you can feel smug. You will also feel great when you get off the plane.
Thanks rawkaren, you are quite right - I was at a birthday party this week and was completely sober - it was amazing watching everyone else descend into drunkenness. And it was also great waking up with out a hangover and 1lb lighter!

Week Three
by Hollycheese on 16 May 2014, 06:15
I managed to avoid bad food at the birthday party and found that once a 2 year old had blown out the candles, the cake did not seem all that appealing!
I am not struggling with the alcohol at all and even though it is only just three months since I stopped smoking as well, I am not missing it. I do not need drugs in my life and smoking and drinking are both pure drug addiction. Having said that I am a bit anxious about our forthcoming trip to Africa. We are travelling first class and I do associate that with drinking a lot. Champagne in the lounge, champagne as soon as we board, wine with food etc, etc. I need to visualise how it is going to be with fizzy water and to remember why I stopped in the first place. At least I should have lost enough by then to be comfortable in my clothes and I will feel great when we get there instead of hung over.
I am not doing as much exercise as I would like, I still seem to be suffering from apathy and can't be bothered. Still at least the weather is better now and I am doing some gardening.
I am also doing 15:8 which I find quite easy. I have no breakfast and then can go out to lunch and have a meal in the evening. I also find that the 'feeding window' closing at eight o'clock prevents me from eating too many sweets or a pudding as it is normally too late by then.
Right, week four - here we come!
