Good luck KathyinLondon, You won't give up. You just say to yourself: I can have that cake, bowl of chips whatever, tomorrow. I'll have a cup of tea. It's easy. It's a bit hard at first, especially in the late afternoon, but it gets easier and easier every time.

I'm on my first day too althought dabbled with it earlier in the yr. I've just been told I have arthritis so I'm with you in hoping the weight loss will help. Good luck enjoy the sunshine!

I managed ok and thank you for your kind words shoobie1 and Sallyo. It was easier than I thought it would be and I decided in the end to leave my main meal until this evening and to fast through the day. I managed on tea, coffee (with some skimmed milk) and lots of water.

Congrats for getting through your first fast! The first few may be tough but I'm on week 3 now and they do ease up X

First day!

First day back at work after a lovely three weeks off, so am a little bit anxious. I work as a manager in the mental health field and it can understandably be a stressful job.
I also developed arthritis last year and this is one of the important reasons why I really want this to work.
Anyway, let's see how my first fast day goes. Wish me luck!
