Sugar Cravings

by Moptop on 03 Jun 2013, 22:00

TOTM I think, and I suddenly started craving sweet food. Have a terrible headache and stomach cramps so I can see WHY I wanted the sweet treats. I ate a bit of ice-cream and a little bit of cake and one and a half Scotch pancakes with butter - was feeling terribly guilty about this 'loss of control' but now I see it written down here, it's not so bad!

I think because I am feeling bloated, I convinced myself that I had suddenly gained the 10lbs I've lost in the past 2 weeks and that I will never lose weight and it's all pointless ...Look how quickly the negative thought patterns have taken hold!

I'm on a fast day tomorrow and will be doing a lot of walking. This blog is very helpful - writing down my thoughts has helped me gain a bit of objective focus on how I am feeling. It'll be interesting to see if the pattern repeats next month, but I'm sticking to this plan and am going to lose this remaining stone - SO THERE, HORMONES!
