Week 4 and still the same after all festive season

by Rhonda on 06 Jan 2014, 09:47

Well I am one happy lady after eating and drinking what I wanted without giving it a second thought and my weight stayed the same over Christmas and New Year. I do feel I didn't "pig out" as I have done in previous years.
I have stopped sugar in my coffee and tea since 1st Jan 2014 - this will be for life.
I have stopped chocolate until Valentine's Day - hoping this will help with my Valentine's Day Challenge.
I have stopped alcohol for the month of January, again to help with my Valentine's Challenge.

My most exciting decision was to finally run my first ever 10k. I entered the Great Run Women's 10K 2014 which will be run in Glasgow - I started training last week and I am "Running for the Birds" - I am running to raise funds for The Island Parrot Sanctuary, which is near Oban, Scotland, on the Isle of Kerrera.
