Week 6 Still the Same as last week but HAPPY

by Rhonda on 17 Jan 2014, 08:53

Just finished week 6 of this new way of life and still loving 5:2 although my fast day yesterday was the worst since starting this journey. I ended up eating more than I should have and felt compelled to fall back into old habits - I am owning up to it so will be better prepared for Monday's fast and will take measures to ensure I don't fall back again next week.
Training for the 10k is helping and I am enjoying the challenge.
So, stayed the same this week, which after yesterday's blips I am happy with the result today, but I suspect I could have been a bit lighter had I not succumbed ... anyway, chin up and carry on - 5:2 is great and I know it :)

Fasting Mon & Thurs
Start wt 13 st 10 (192 lb) 9 Dec 2013
-0 wk 10 at 13 st 5 (187 lb) 14 Feb 2014
I am still lighter by 5 pounds
Goal weight 11 st 1 (155 lb)
Valentine's Day Challenge Member No: 39 - mini goal 13 st (182 lb) Did not achieve this mini goal.

It happens to us all, these blips just show us that we are human. It also gives us the incentive to do better next time, and maybe tweak a few things to make it achievable.
Training for 10k wow. My experience is that I sometimes don't lose when exercising hard. Carorees has posted about exercise and weight loss. So this may be a reason woth considering.
I am also aiming for about 11st something. Pre children weight.
Thanks Caroline - great information there :)
