it definately gets like you say- you loose count and it becomes part of your life- we look forward to fast days every week- we do different days to suit our week- and it feels so good to fast- it makes the day easier as you don't need to worry about lunches etc and we do very repetitive/simple fast day dinners (we just have our 500cals in 1 meal)- and I also agree with you about what you say about the noodles- I look at the ingredients much more now and only try to eat good stuff.
