Week 1 of challenge done. Yay!

Overall reasonably happy - though if I can't do okay in week 1, what hope is there for the rest of the time!!

I think I did eat more than I wanted yesterday, tho, and the evening was the problem, for the first time this week. However, it may be because I did not have enough carby veg at dinner, and it may also be partly because I am at our holiday house where the "vibe" is different (ie in holiday mood).

Can't see what I wrote yesterday while typing this - I may have reported on what I ate at start of the day but will repeat. Hard boiled egg, muesli with yoghurt for brekkie, tuna salad with usual trimmings and small apple for lunch, 3 rice and quinoa cakes for snack on way here, and fish and veg (frozen and mainly green beans!) followed by berries and cottage cheese for dinner. I then proceeded to have: an orange, slice of cheese, a few Brazil nuts and some raisins, another small apple. I nearly had some chocolate, but wanted to complete at least one week without, so did manage. On reflection, my intake wasn't too bad.

Gorgeous morning here, tho rain forecast later so need to make the most of it. Have some furniture rearranging to do - replacing some beds and the washing machine. Hate to see what is under and behind the old machine!

I don't think I will fast today, but will see how long I can manage without eating,

Goal reached December 2013, weight loss strategy 5:2, weight management strategy is eating a wide range of (mainly) whole foods but am back to following 5:2 for a while. Main eating challenge is the evening munchies! :razz:
