My first blog...

Starting:
I wanted to make sure most of my water weight was gone when I began the Fast Diet. To accomplish this I used the Atkin's Induction strictly for a week and dropped 5 lbs. I have eaten low carb for 2 years. I usually gain & loose the same 5-10 lbs over and over but this time was different...I started my week of fasting.
Week one...now that was tough. I have never heard my stomach make so many noises in protest of this fasting. I am so glad I work from home...how embarrassing this would have been in the work place!
By the end of Week #2 I had dropped 10 lbs. I was now hooked on fasting.
Week #3...no weight loss. I am not at all disappointed knowing my body is catching up with such a dramatic drop in pounds. My clothes fit better. I will remeasure after week 4 (each month).
What I have learned:
Fasting is empowering! Fasting is biblical and healthy.
On feed days I am not as hungry and crave less foods.
Hunger is in waves. Fasting is getting easier.
The scale is tricky...I now weigh on Mondays after a weekend of feeding.
Fasting fits in with my life very well...even my family has no idea I'm doing this yet.
Fasting will adjust with your schedule...what other diet does that?
Fasting is now a way of life for me.
I eat a Low Carb Diet and do 5:2. It's working. God is good!
