Never happened before

by Bobshouse on 25 Oct 2013, 19:55

Went to the English pub tonight for fish and chips and could not eat it all. Left out pudding too. This is a first for me. Have also decided to reduce my breakfast and just have a slice of toast with my coffee. I am finding it too much to have porridge as well. One of the reasons I failed with weight watchers was too many points for my breakfast that I felt I could not do without.
This is all very strange for me but I have to say I rather like it.

In for repair Monday, Wednesday and Friday

That is exactly what is happening to me! I usually HVE a big bowl of porridge and as of today I am trying half a bowl. I was still looking for morning tea but I wld HVE done that anyway. So this is pleasing for me. I will look for your progress in future. That is really great news. Alexandravr

I'm glad to see you listening to your body instead of WW. I personally feel WW is the source of most of my weight. I think they caused my yo yo dieting by cutting calories too drastically. I'd gone back 3 times before I came to this realization. The last time I really noticed how the meetings had become more sales pitches for their products than anything else. And, look at those products. Hardly any recognizable ingredients.

Although the group support may be effective, other groups like Overeaters Anonymous or TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) might be better options if you have them there.

I heard a WW exec quoted as saying they wouldn't be successful as a business if they didn't have the repeat customers.

I have been an online ww member for years. You get no help from the company it is all run by members. I call in once a week now as am signed up for a challenge but once that is done, no more. I will bin all recipe books and never buy another chemical laden ww product again.

I too have a WW past! I recall the fake foods and oddly unhealthy prescription for daily intake and shudder now.
I'm glad that the 5:2 came into my life instead. I use my own good food, no silly ersatz sweets and full social life including food!!!

Yes, profiting from the misery of others. Glad not to give my cash to them anymore.
