Hop skip and jump

by carieoates on 10 Jan 2015, 16:51

I'm hoping to reach my goal soon.

Haven't made a blog entry for nearly a year prob because bean and I have a joint one "Bean and Oates"

The Christmas challenge alongside sober for October really helped me get to a goal - reachable weight .
Unfortunately Christmas baggage was loaded on and had to be shifted quick.
Today I weighed in at 12 St 3 which is a nice low for me. Many of you who've seen me may think I'm Lower than that, in fact I'm proof that "Rocks in your Pockets " is a true phenomena.
I'm an exerciser and as a child, teen and pre children I did a lot of various sports, I've got big muscles. So don't be disheartened if you're not that perfect weight that the tables say you should be. At a waist of 34 inches and being 5ft 7 my waist to height ratio is good and my BMI is currently 26 I'm a size 14 below and sometimes 12 on the top.
I have a goal of 11.11 which is slowly getting within reach. I have added enthusiasm as I've unpacked the Xmas Baggage really...

1st jan 80kg (12.8st)
Today 7th February 80.5kg (12.9st)
I'm happy as over the month I've been 3lb - 3.5 lb heavier, and I've only just started losing after my op and Xmas.

So .5kg increase.

Monday 3rd Feb

by carieoates on 03 Feb 2014, 16:28

Didn't weigh this morning, was too busy getting ready for work. I have done a full day 6 hours, 15mins. I'm cream crackered, got tomorrow off so not too bad.

I had very low cal hot drink in my armoury today, tea, coffee black, green tea- still don't like it. Oxo cube and now a treat of hot chocolate. At 3.30 I had a limp of beef leftover from yesterday's roast. Tonight it's chicken breast stuffed with low cal blue cheese triangle and wrapped in Parma ham. With salad. MFP estimated cals 275 for chicken breast.
Total today 460. I have some spare.

Sat 1st Feb

12.10
Love my scales today. Guess what I had for dinner last night.? Half a pack of fresh filled pasta. 360 cals. Then at about 9.30 I had a toasted hot cross bun. Then 2 - 3rds of a bottle of wine.
Off to class in a min.
Take away tonight with only one glass of wine as I'm starting C25K again in the morning, going for week 3 as 4 made me ache. But I'm prone to changing my mind so we will see.

Fri 31st Jan

12.11.2
ARGHHHHHH
What's going on, I'm going to start a "what's going on" tent.
Two fantastic fasts again this week, less alcohol, ie one G&T plus two glasses of red since Sunday.
Lasagna, fish, chicken, veggies, salad,
And to top it off 16.8 every other.
Drink more water :?:

I now 16.8 all of the time.
It kept me on the straight and narrow whilst recovering from my op, but since I've started doing proper full 5.2 or 4.3 I have struggled with the yo yo 1-2 lb lose, gain ride.

I've learned to like almonds as a snack, which is good isn't it?
I'm not having so much booze, which is also good,
I am also very aware of carbs.
I don't fill up on sugary fruit as a snack.
But
I have found that when tired I will over eat.

So in summary I do not know why I've stalled. I'm just going to plug away. The anaesthetic is still making me tired 20 min sleep needed about three times a week....
