Back to it

Not sure exactly why I fell away. When I started 5:2 I was thrilled at how easy it was, how good I felt, and my steady weight loss. Then came a few weeks where my schedule was a bit wonky and I got lax. And well put on a few pounds, ok 9 pounds.

So I have begun again and taken off 4 of those. Sad that it will take me at least 6 weeks what it took 3 to put on. But so be it, lesson learned.

I am currently doing my own version of 5:2, it is a 3:2:2. Three days of "normal" eating with about 2,100 calories, 2 days of 560 calories or less, and 2 days of 1,500 calories or less. I do the 2 moderate days because they allow me to be less restrictive on the 3 non-dieting days. It seems to work well for me.

So here I go again and for good.
