Friday & Saturday Food log entry

by egregious on 30 Nov 2014, 10:10

Friday
apple and satsuma
flax crackers and cream cheese
granola
2x homemade biscuits
hot chocolate
2pieces homemade coconut chocolate
steak pie and mushy peas
1/2 beer
1 piece rocky road
mulled wine x1
wine x 3 glass

Saturday
Weigh in this morning and I've dropped from around 10 st 5 (the scales couldnt decide last week so not sure) to 10 st 2.5
THIS IS WORKING!
Went to a Christmas market today so ate all sorts of nonsense not to mention wine/beer. Probably went over but we didn't have tea so hopefully not by too much. Anyway here is the damage:
Roast pork sandwich
pork pie
1/2 piece parkin

roast chestnuts less than 1/2 bag(most of these were burnt so didn't have that many)
snowcake (kind of like a walnut whip, from this stall, really wasn't worth the calories)
2 pieces fudge
evening snacking on crisps nuts

2x homemade ginger biscuits
several mulled wine/wine and beer

Seriously need to eat some nutrients today(Sunday) as I heard that wine doesn't actually count as one of your five a day.

I'm really chuffed with the loss this week as I wasn't expecting that much but hoping for some. I haven't been uber strict, but I've basically stopped eating crap on returning home from work, which I know was the major issue. Think I'm going to keep this up for another week then relax things a little over Christmas, but see if I can continue being more mindful. Really don't want to gain loads, in fact I'm determined not to. At least I know how to get back to good habits again. Bizarre how something so simple as logging can really change your eating habits.
