Where did that come from? I spontaneously broke into a jogg!

by harrij19 on 24 Apr 2013, 10:06

Currently traveling on business and am located in London. Green park ( next to Buckingham Palace) is a gentle stroll away. On arrival yesterday, the sun was shining, and I took a long walk. It was (apparently) the first warm day of the year, and many people appeared confused. Some sported coats, heavy pullovers, and others were in shorts and more minimal clothing. Confusion was much in evidence, but one thing was apparent...lots of smiles, which was infectious.

After taking a long telephone conference in the park, I followed up on this this morning by arising early, and donning short, sports shoes and tee shirt, headed to the park. As I entered the park, down a gentle incline...it happened....I started jogging...I think the last time I jogged was 20 years ago. Now! Jogging is a loose explanation of my shambling, rigid style, but hey...I enjoyed it.

I was passed by many, but I also passed others, and it felt great...
