Was the thought that briefly went through my mind today after stepping off the scales. I haven't lost anything this week. I ended my second liquid only 36 hour fast this morning (in the week) and can't really see why I have plateaud again but I have. I would be happy with a loss of a pound a week but it isnt happening and as I head into my sixth week, I have to focus on my seven pound loss in total.
Do I want to go back to my old way of eating? No. So, I will persevere. That and trying to get to the gym at least twice a week. I have a mostly sedentary job and know I need to exercise more or as much as my arthritic knee will allow me to.
This is the hardest part of eating better as I could very easily slip into my old ways. Though I do treat myself on my non fasting days to something that I really enjoy eating.
Slow but steady, I will try to remember

Good luck, @moderatemeals! I think you'll love this way of life!
Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
Thanks for the comment, cblasz.
Maybe this WOE is so successful that everyone's lost the weight and got on with their lives! I can hope ...
