I'm Anna. I'm a 38 year old mum with two children. I work part time in a shop and I try to take regular exercise, usually a bit of doggy paddle at the local swimming baths or some walky running kind of thing in the park.
I’ve been a fatty since my late teens. If only I knew 22 years ago what I know now, I wouldn't be facing this Me vs The Flab battle I’m currently fighting.
When I was child, I danced up to three hours a day, five days per week and then I stopped. I started college and discovered a seriously hardcore social life. That's when it (and my belly) went a bit wobbly.
Who knew that taking that much exercise kept you slim? I didn’t. When I stopped throwing shapes regularly, I got fatter. Daily hot chocolate and Mars bar binges in the college canteen took their toll.
Then I met my husband who was a terrible influence - it's all his fault. My mother in law cooked amazing roast dinners; fat yorkies as big as your head, roasties cooked in oil, gravy made with the juices from the m...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
