Yesterday I did my fourth fast day. It gets easier each time. It also helps to do these on busy days--I've now settled on Tuesdays and Fridays because these are the days I am away from home for 10 and 12 hours, respectively. It is so liberating not having to think of what I'm going to eat, carrying tuppers or tins and plastic cutlery, looking for a place in my busy schedule to sit and eat. I do carry a small shaker with protein powder (not mixed) for just in case, but so far I haven't needed it. In the morning just my usual tea with coconut milk. When I get desperate I may have a piece of fruit at noon. Then a small normal meal, whatever the family are having but less, and skip the carbs, when I get home in the evening. For example, last night I came home to spaghetti and meatballs, but I only had the meatballs (soutzoukakia Smyrne style, to be precise). I cannot count the calories but I think I'm within the limit. Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
