Well Day 1 was relatively easy from a fasting point of view - sore throat and searing period pains kept me most duvet bound for the day. The only time I felt any hunger or anxiety was at about 6pm in anticipation of eating at 7pm. So had dinner at 6.30 and all was well. The only problem had was accidently finding a bar of chocolate that I couldn't resist - I caved, though I could have the smallest square - God it tasted so good. 5 mins later I went back and finished off the row. Very ashamed but I don't think I did too much damage - lost 1.3kg - yeah I know that was probably mostly water, but hey I'm not knocking it.

Good luck, @moderatemeals! I think you'll love this way of life!
Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
Thanks for the comment, cblasz.
