Crikey - am nearing the end of the DODO challenge already! Time for an update....
I need these challenges because they hold me accountable. Decided to do this one because of the difficulty I have with feed days. I am strict as anything with myself on fast days....but the other days, well, that's a totally different story. With this in mind, it made sense to have a go at DODOing, because it would minimise the damage I can do to myself! Three weeks in & I've lost 7lbs/half a stone/14 packs of butter!!!
It's felt a bit hardcore at times & it's been a struggle watching others eat with gay abandon when I'm fasting, but I've tried to keep in mind that it is me and me alone who has got myself into this position (obese), so only I can undo it. It has been nice to know that I only ever have to wait until tomorrow for a more relaxed day.
I've definitely been rewarded for my efforts - am very content with the figures so far, but am not sure whether I could commit to it for longer than...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!

Yes, it is terribly dead here, especially lately. I think that people either just have all the information they need or have stopped this WOE. It is a shame. But stick around. It seems to go in waves....
