04/07/13 - So yesterday was my first Thursday fast since we started this little journey and the day started well, 100g of strawberries for breakfast, plenty of water/coffee during the day, light lunch of some spinach a boiled egg and some wafer thin ham..... all good until hometime and then all I wanted to do was eat, I was hungry and tired and needed something. Hubbie was going to be home late from work so I had to wait until he arrived before I could even cook - I was in a foul mood by the time he arrived which was not good at all.
In the end I made a chicken tikka with some spinach (appx 200cals per serving) but even after that I was still hungry so I succumbed and I had 2 crisp breads with some Marmite - I think my main problem yesterday was just having no texture to anything I ate and I was craving something with a bit of bite! Anyways the crisp bread worked and normal service was resumed! I was still under my goal (think I came in at 444 yesterday) so I am pleased though I think...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
