Okay! Monday, my scheduled fast day on this 5:2 reboot, was a complete success!
Was actually well under my 500 allowed calories (3 T heavy whipping cream in my morning coffee - for a total of 150 calories, no carbs), but it didn't bother me at all. I know I could have had more, but I think tasting small amounts leads to eating larger quantities. I am an "all or nothing" personality according to a counselor many years ago, and I know from dieting this is likely true.
I usually drink about 3 quarts of water a day, but yesterday I probably added another 3. I just read that if you're feel hungry, drink water - you're more likely just in need of fluids. It helped.
I did go on a brisk 2 mile(4km) hike this morning. Felt good but when I got home, I felt I should have a little something. I wrote yesterday that I wasn't going to break my fast till lunch, but at the time I didn't know I...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
