Having been following 5.2 since January, my weight loss has been consistent, along with my exercise patterns. I haven't been in a race to loose weight, and it is happening steadily and without fuss.
What I have realized though, is that on my non fast days, I am suppressing my calorific intake. This I now consider to be wrong and dangerous. Wrong because I believe for this approach to be successful then there needs to be real distinction between the fast and the feed days. Wrong as I have been stifling the ability for 5:2 to be more effective, and wrong because I am denying myself the pleasure that food affords. Dangerous because I am not having as much pleasure as I could possibly take, and I could derail! Yikes.
So today...milestone day. I have resolved to eat more on feed days, drink more water, and really see if I can maintain my loss progress down to 91kgs.
