I have definitely noticed a decrease in appetite on none fast days.
I am also finding that I am not fanaticising about food as I have on other diets. While there are days I am fasting, I will want something, I can simply put it off to the next day. The next day comes and the thought have having all those things I have put off is quite repulsive lol, so I end up choosing the ones I would like the most.
This is the first diet I have ever felt like this with. Even healthy diets I have done in the past have me obsessing about the next meal.
I am finding with the MyFitness App I have downloaded that I simply put in what I am going to eat on a fast day and see if it tallies up to 500.
I don't use it the rest of the week.
I am also finding that the sugar cravings are diminishing. The liver roll around my waist is disappearing (Dr Sandra Cabot would be pleased) and I am feeling good. I am struggling with headaches some days but don't know how much of that is hormones, breaking addictions...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
