So after yesterday's dramatic blog post (a little more 'woe is me' than usual) I went to work, forgot about eating for a while and then decided "What the heck - why not turn that fast break into the start of a 36-hour fast?" So I did! I'm 26 hours in now so I only have to make it through tonight and then tomorrow morning I can have a small, healthy breakfast. So far it hasn't been too bad. I'm especially proud of myself for a particular moment this afternoon when I was just about to go into a technical rehearsal for a show. I was feeling anxious. Our costume designer was sitting in front of me, munching away on some PINK MUSK STICKS!!
Now, words can't describe how bad my addiction to these are. If I have one I simply can't stop. They've been a study go-to for the past year and I've been known to hoe through a whole packet in one study sesh. They are absolute diet kryptonite to me!
So my friend turns around and offers me one. I very quickly answer "No, thank you." And...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
