Today is fast day 2 out of three, of week three. So far I have lost (drum roll)... 9.5lbs and am feeling a lot lighter, springier and my skin fits comfortably inside my clothes instead of trying to escape around the edges- I am sure you know what I mean!
Week one was a great success, this success continued until my daughter became ill. Then I had three days (two of them fasting) of sitting on the sofa watching films. I don't know about you but when I am bored, my hands become fidgety and start searching for things to do..namely raid the kitchen cupboard. I managed one real fast and one cheat fast where I decided not to weight or count the corners of toast I consumed. Saturday emerged and so did the Christmas coffee morning complete with home-baked fairy cakes. I did resist the fairy cakes and mince pies..how ever, I did eat my children's leftovers. Sigh. Surely, there is some rule in nature which forces us to eat our children's leftovers? FOr no matter how hard I try they call to me 'Sarah,...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!

Yes, it is terribly dead here, especially lately. I think that people either just have all the information they need or have stopped this WOE. It is a shame. But stick around. It seems to go in waves....
