So, after one month of fasting a couple of times a week, love is definitely in the air
My main aim is to improve my long-term health (if those benefits do turn out to exist), but as I don't have any results for anything other than weight, this is currently my only way of quantifying whether 5:2 is doing anything for me, so I'll focus on that here:
I thought I'd not lost any weight but it turns out that I've lost 3lbs, which I'm quite surprised at and also pleased with!
It will be interesting to see if my weight continues to fall or not, as these 3lbs are the lbs that I tend to put on and lose fairly easily normally.
April is going to involve a lot of socialising, holidaying and staying with my other half's family which will probably mean that my calorie intake will increase a bit - I tend to get force fed wine, GnTs and ice cream whenever I'm there ...

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!

Yes, it is terribly dead here, especially lately. I think that people either just have all the information they need or have stopped this WOE. It is a shame. But stick around. It seems to go in waves....
