The body is back in fasting mode. It was not as hard as I thought it would be. The hunger was bearable even at night. I did not really calorie count my intake as I had one main meal each of the 2 day fast I did. I am also considering of going to do a 2 day fast instead of the 3 that I am doing now. We see how it goes. It is baby steps one day at a time. Rushing never gets me anywhere and it makes one not take time to digest the information that our body is telling us.
I even survived the making of our lunch for the day after. I did though have to remind myself that was fasting and not to snack! It is something that is easily forgotten when the tummy is hungry and you are making food. So now I am only 700grams away from my first goal weight. It is to get to the ultimate goal weight that is hard and to maintain, though I was running back and forth to the bathroom every few minutes after going to bed due to the large amount of liquid I drink on fasting days. Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
