Ok, today the weight is down again to 77.7kg, that is like it was 2 days ago. Today I will finish my first week on 5:2 and I will have a rough idea of my weight loss over this first week. I think I will have a little gain by tomorrow morning, but I will probably have well over the half kilo average loss that the majority is experiencing. Anyway I won't take it into account too much because I know that the first week on a diet it is quite easy to loose a bit more than what is going to be regularly, but so far I am quite happy. Now I am going to have 3 days of feeding and that is going to be as well a good indicator on Monday morning even if tomorrow afternoon I have my 6hrs run race that will consume a lot, but on the other side I will need to replace most of it during and after the race. Another thing I will check is how this diet is going to affect my performance. I really hope to cover around 55km tomorrow, but more than that I want to see if I feel strong during the whole event or not....

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!
