Yesterday was my third fast day and it wasn't too bad. I think there might be something to having a low protein meal the night before as I did not get a headache like I did during my second fast. One annoying side effect: I have a very hard time sleeping the night of a fast. Oh well. WIth any luck, the sleeplessness will subside as I adjust to this lifestyle.
Yesterday I had sirloin steak with savoy cabbage and romaine lettuce for dinner and steel cut oats with fresh raspberries for breakfast. On Thursday, I think I'll try boiled eggs with fruit for breakfast....Still deciding what I want for dinner. Maybe fish as we are having chicken cacciatore today and tomorrow. Two pounds down. Many more to go (so unfair that my not so overweight husband has already lost 7 lbs). But this seems so much manageable than the other diets I've tried. Time will tell.

Losing 1.6 pounds is hardly a plateau! You are not going to keep losing at the same rate as the beginning. You should be very happy with 1 pound a week!

Yes, it is terribly dead here, especially lately. I think that people either just have all the information they need or have stopped this WOE. It is a shame. But stick around. It seems to go in waves....
