Day 56 Fast Day

Weight : 8st 6.75

Well I can't say I am majorly surprised to be honest. I'm completely bloated and full of gas. My stomach feels very stretched and I seem to have gas that is just not leavnig my poor bulging belly. I don't believe that I am 8st 6.75- I am really hoping to hit 8st 4 next Friday morning. I am disappointed but what can you do. ?Yesterday was a fast day - with this gastrtitis fast days aren't difficult in that I have no ffod cravings as I have no appetite. I only really need to eat to ensure the acid doesn't get a chance to have a little party in my stomach. Yesterday my fast day went as follows:

8am-12pm 2 cups of tea
12pm: 165g quark (170), P2B Peanut Butter (45)
5pm: 2 pork loins (150), blue cheese (100), piece of bread ( 100),
5pm-8pm: ginger tea

Total : 565 - which isn't the worst. Carbs:

I was supposed to do a spin class but decided to give my body a rest- especially in anticipation of running 5k fast Sat morning. By last night, my tummy felt a lot better, first time I didn't really have acid. I think the ginger tea is helping to relieve some of the gas and clogged feeling I have. I might try some green tea tomorrow which is supposed to be good too. Another point, sat in chatting and watching bits of tv with mum, she had wine, I had ginger tea. She offered me wine, I had no symptoms and thought about having a wee glass. But then I gave myself a good shake and said 1. its a fast day so not enough food 2. Your stomach is still healing 3. You made a promise - no alcohol til next Friday at least. So I just had ginger tea. It was a fleeting thought if I'm honest and wasn't hard to just say no. I then went to bed and watched a couple of episodes of breaking bad and was asleep by 10pm. A very strange but relaxing Friday night for me. Very enjoyable

I give it 6/10 because no weight loss but my tummy seems a bit better and health is your wealth. WEight loss has to come second to my health which may mean fasting in a different way til no acid.
