After thoughts

As per yesterday I must say that I found this 2nd day easier. i still thought a lot about food, but I was not suffering too much. I think that the idea that is just one day of sacrifice makes it easier to go through knowing that the day after you don't have to think about food too much, just be concerned about what I am going to eat.
Looking at yesterday I am still convinced that 600 or so calories despite being few can be quite a good deal of food if chosen carefully.
I had yesterday:
morning:
535g of fennel = 48 cals
lunch:
80g of pasta = 280 cals
30g of sauce = 30 cals
evening:
130g of veal = 150 cals
that left me with 90 cals to spare which I didn't even know how to use. it is very difficult to choose something for only 100 calories and didn't want any sweet even if I am very fond of Nutella, because I thought that the idea of waiting few hours was worth not get into temptation.
I just drank a nice cup of a relaxing infusion of Ricola that gave me the last 70/80 cals.
So the day went by.
I am keeping reading the forum and various posts and it seems that most of the folk like skipping a meal, but I believe that it is not necessary. Just have a small portion of pasta or rice, have a simplpe steack or hamburger will do and leave you space for more for the evening. For me it is important to eat carbs, even if there is someone that says that we don't need them, but when fasting I feel I need energy and because at the end of the day I am Italian and I belive that if the mediterranean diet is considered to be good I will keep on eating what is common down here.
Anyway so far so good. Not looking forward to Thursady (still prefer feed days ), but glad I found 5:2 method to help me reach my golas.
Ciao, ciao.
