Back on track

Ok, today the weight is down again to 77.7kg, that is like it was 2 days ago. Today I will finish my first week on 5:2 and I will have a rough idea of my weight loss over this first week. I think I will have a little gain by tomorrow morning, but I will probably have well over the half kilo average loss that the majority is experiencing. Anyway I won't take it into account too much because I know that the first week on a diet it is quite easy to loose a bit more than what is going to be regularly, but so far I am quite happy. Now I am going to have 3 days of feeding and that is going to be as well a good indicator on Monday morning even if tomorrow afternoon I have my 6hrs run race that will consume a lot, but on the other side I will need to replace most of it during and after the race. Another thing I will check is how this diet is going to affect my performance. I really hope to cover around 55km tomorrow, but more than that I want to see if I feel strong during the whole event or not. Yesterday I had my 3rd fasting day. Was overall fine, but realised that even if I ate 300g of mushed potatoes believing it was going to be fine I struggled the whole afternoon. Well I had my run before lunch (10Km) and probably my body needed more stuff, but I was starving by 7 and had 200g of veal steack, 100g of frozen vegetables (potatoes, cucumber, aubergin, pepperoni) that I cooked without oil, just added a drop of water during the cooking and to finish a dessert. A lovely yogurt (peach and pineapple) with 0.1% fat with only 78cals. The total eas not even 600cals. What I am noticing is that I need more at lunch and not like most of the people here at dinner. I can do with a bit less in the evening because afetr a while a go to bed and usually fall asleep quite early, so no nightly cravings.
What can I say? I look forward to tomorrow's weight even if I will do some carbo loading today in preparation for tomorrow's run, but I am optimistic. I am sure that if I keep being good and watch my non fasting days calories I will drop to 74kg quite fast and ready for my 100km run by the end of May.
Buona giornata a tutti.
