Back to the roots

So I have been away from the site for quite a while. After my last blog things at work became hectic, I lost a bit control of the 5:2 diet and thought I could manage it without being so careful. As usual I proved myself wrong. Things went fine for a while and in the meantime I did another great race. I did my first 24hrs straight run. It was an incredible experience and I managed to run for 171km. Great achievement. I finished 4th and almost went onto the podium. Well it was good anyway. Now I have set my goals even higher for next year (200km and over...).
Anyway as I said I didn't follow the diet closely anymore and overindulging quite a bit above all with lots of ice creams being in the house which I ate plenty of.
Training reduced a bit and therefore putting the things together my weight slowly began to raise once again.
So now I am back in my hi 76 kilos and really started to do 5:2 this week again.
So I hope to get again in the habit of following carefully my 2 days diet and don't eat too much on the other days. My training has increased again since I want to run a marathon later in the year so this should help me controlling my weight.
I am not far away from my 74 kilo I was 3 months back, but I know I need to teach myself again to look after the food I eat.
I hope to write again regurarly on the site and log my weight. I know I need daily inputs to keep an eye on what I do so this site has proven to be great for me.
J is back and hopefully my weight will say goodbye once again.
