8th fast

by juliusi on 14 Feb 2014, 10:15

After 4 weeks and 8 fast I am down 1.4kg. It is not as much as it should have been looking at the average of 500g per week, but I know that I didn't follow the diet properly and with a week in Berlin it was hard too. Next week I will be out for 5 days again and another test for myself. At the end of everything I am not disappointed at all because I am loosing weight and I am not far away from the 80 number. I won't be able to weigh myself next week at least until Friday morning and see the damages of the week out. I really hope to be able to control myself.
Time will tell.

One week later

by juliusi on 11 Feb 2014, 08:42

Ok went to Berlin to the fair and managed to be almost a good boy. Came back with little on and tried to make up with Saturday fast (instead of Thursday when I was away) and yesterday Monday. Today the scale said: 81.2kg which is 200g less than last week. Of course it is not the half kilo the diet usually makes you loose, but I know the diet I am doing is not really that accurate as it should be. I still eat a little more than the 600 cals allotted and I need to better from this point of view, but overall I am still happy to see the numbers decreasing which is what I want. Next goal is to see the 80 number. The back seems improving but still not allowed to run. I really hope to start on March 1st, that would be great. I am sure that once I start training again I will drop the weight a bit more easily.

by juliusi on 04 Feb 2014, 06:18

After my 5th fast the weight has dropped to 84.1kg. A bit less than I thought since yesterday was a fast day: only 0.5kg lost. Anyway as I said yesterday thigs are going in the right direction and today I went into the 25BMI figures.
Today I ma leaving to go to Berlin and I hope to behave while over there having to eat in hotel and restaurants.
It will be a good test.

Doing well...

by juliusi on 03 Feb 2014, 14:13

Ok the numbers are starting to go down. I think I am finally in the 5:2 mode definitely and looking forward to the next few weeks to go into the '70 again. I know I have a lot to do to get to where I was last year, but it is ok. It worked once it is going to work again. Just need to be good on the feed days. Today I am in my 5th fast day and this week it will be a different one. I am travelling to Berlin for a fair and I hope while out not to overeat. I am thinking to skip the usual routine of Monday-Thursday fasting and jump directly to Saturday. I will decide on Thursday itself and see if I can do the fast day on that day or not. Still no good news with regards to my back. I still have some little problems which I hope to solve soon, but it is going to be along journey too. I really hope I will be able to start running soon in the next future (maybe March?).
Tomorrow if everything goes as planned I will hit a PB and if so it will a huge boost for me.
Well that's all for now.

Fats #3

by juliusi on 28 Jan 2014, 06:31

After one week back on the diet things didn't go as planned. I didn't loose any weight, but gained 0.1kg. I perfectly know why (didn't follow the diet almost at all so I have no excuses). Yesterday I put a bit more effort in the day since it was a fast day and today I weigh 0.5kg less. Not as much as I remember from last year when I started 5:2, but this is probably because I haven't started to weigh food. Anyway the important thing is that I did it properly and now it is just a matter of keep looking at the calories for the nexrt 2 feed days. Unfortunately not doing any activity makes things a bit more difficult (this could be the reason of less weight loss), but right now this is my situation and therefore I have to deal with it. Looking forward to get into the 81kg steadlily.
'Till tomorrow have a nice day.
Julius
