Day Zero!

by kimbrulee on 04 Mar 2016, 20:23

I found the "My Blog" function! I am so happy! This is EXACTLY what I wanted: a place to journal specifically about IF-ing.

For this first entry, I'll state my IF plan and weight goals.

I plan to do the 16/8 way, with a day thrown in of fasting.

During the 16 hr window, I can drink coffee. I was experimenting with "Bulletproof Coffee" - (you put straight up BUTTER in your coffee. It's delicious and it does make you full and sharp) but I get nervous about the saturated fat...I don't know...

During the 8 hr window, I have been eating whatever I want. Friends wondered if I'd binge from being hungry. I did the first few days, but now ...I just don't.

I have yet to try a day of fasting. My day I picked is Monday, so I'll find out how it goes in a few days.

My Goal:
I am afraid to get on the scale because I have gained in the last year or so. When I do get on the scale, I will start monitoring that.
For now, I have a pair of jeans that I try on once a week. They were fitting...then they became tight...then TOO tight...and right now I can't even get them up over my hips without real work.
When I can button them again, I'll weigh myself.

From there, I have certain clothes I want to wear, and whatever weight that is, that's my goal.
