Hubby had about 10 days holidays from work, and between the two of us we decided it would be a good idea to just come off 5:2 for a week. It was a lovely, relaxing time off together and I really wasn't worried too much about weight etc. I did find that the further I got away from my fast day the slightly worse my food choices were. But I also did a few 16:8's automatically on different days, not really on purpose.
Anyway, after all that I am up a little in weight, but not stressing and I'm looking forward to fasting tomorrow. I had a thought today that I might actually be ok doing this woe or IF in general even if I didn't lose weight, and only maintained (although this wouldn't be a good weight health-wise for me.) It's nice to know that there is a way to undo a bad weekend/week etc. Saying that, I'm sure it was just a passing crazy thought, as I DO want to lose weight and drop sizes etc.
Loving HIIT too! I so much prefer to keep HIIT on a fast day as it takes up a decent amount of time and totally suppresses my appetite for a few hours. Oh also, managed to do 8 x 30 sec sprints (with 90 sec break) at 12kph! Stoked as that's the fastest I've managed consistently. Netball starts back up this week too, hopefully the HIIT will have helped my endurance too... Time will tell.
I am going to try and push my meals as late as possible. I really want to get to a point of just having most or all of my 500 cals at night and again as late at night as possible. REALLY need it to get to sleep, and stay that way for a decent amount of time! It causes me a bit of anxiety on fast days, worrying that I won't be able to sleep and the torture won't ever finish, haha.
