I was also like a sponge in the early days, getting so much info is great but sometimes confusing. If you haven't had 500 cals you can have whatever you like. But I'm also a carb junkie, the more I have the more I want and the more I have the more hungry I get. I also did really well on dukan but got fed up with the need for artificial flavours and additives. So now 5.2 is just right for me. Like most I have slipped into 16.8 naturally. So take the bits of info, try them out and see what works for you. Have you tried sweet potatoes, they're great. But squash is better. Good luck
