Daily Weighing Part Two

by rawkaren on 01 Jun 2014, 10:22

I still despise daily weighing, but I have stuck with it this week. I did 3 bulletproof style fasts and dropped 4lb's. However I did go back to my 'old' way of eating - mostly paleo (low carb), with only one day a week as a carb re-feed. No grains. Also now fully embraced the Californian lifestyle and given up the booze. I think a combination of all of this things has given me a kick start. For those of you who don't know what bulletproof is - its here https://www.bulletproofexec.com/how-to- ... rning-too/

Hi, @rawkaren - do you use his exact recipe with upgraded coffee and the upgraded brain octane oil and, if so, do you notice a big difference between this recipe and original coconut oil, etc. ???? I am very intrigued with this method . . and it seems as if its suiting you really well right now.

Howdy @lovemyparrot. Not all the time. At home I use a Nespresso capsule and blend it with Kerrygold and his upgraded brain octane oil. Yes, I do think there is a difference with the oil performance wise, but it tastes the same. At the office we have a Keurig and I bought some of his upgraded coffee capsules, because the stuff at the office tastes terrible, but just drink it black. The coffee tastes very 'clean', smells glorious and they come in individual foil wrapped capsules.

This morning back in Blighty I just made it with unpasturised unsalted grass fed butter (nicer than Kerrygold) and coconut butter. Yes it suits me and I lose weight every time.
